Born March 21, 1926 in Conemaugh Township. Son of Cloyd C. and Dora (Kaufman) Gindlesperger. Preceded in death by parents; wife of 65 years, former Lois K. Stahl, May 31, 2014; sisters, Beatrice Gindlesperger, Elnora Shetler and Wilmetta Steele; and brothers, Carl, Charles and Paul. Survived by children; Joyce, Johnstown, Mark married to Diann Atkins, E. Kingston, NH and Janice, married to Alaric Moody, Lewistown. Granddaughter Jennifer, married to Kraig Barraclough; great grandson, Gabriel and sister-in-law Velma Gindlesperger, Conemaugh Township. 1943 graduate of Conemaugh Township Area High School, Davidsville. Retired employee of former Sani-Dairy, Johnstown. Member of St. David’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Davidsville. U.S. Army Vet of WWII, having served in the European Theater of Operations with the rank of Technician Fourth Grade. Viewing from 2-4 and 6-8PM, Tuesday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 109 Church Street, Davidsville. Visitation also from 10:30AM until the time of service 11AM Wednesday at St. David’s Lutheran Church, Davidsville, Pastor Faron H. Johnson, officiating. No viewing at church.
