BERTOLINI - Myrna R. (Mirasol), 79, Ferrellton, died June 20, 2019 at In-Touch Hospice House, Somerset. Born April 3, 1940 in Manila, Philippines. Daughter of Luis R. and Pilar B. (Rivera) Mirasol. Preceded in death by parents, brothers Luis and Lee Mirasol and sister Elinor Abad. Survived by husband of 48 years Maurice J. Bertolini, Jr.; son Albert L. Bertolini and loving girlfriend Christine Rogers, Sipesville; brothers Noel, Raul and Joey Mirasol; sister-in-law Claudia Kluh, Port Tobacco, MD and numerous nieces and nephews. Myrna was a former movie actress while living in the Philippines. She then met her husband Maurice on a blind date while he was stationed in the Philippines with the U.S. Army. They moved back to Somerset County and Myrna was employed by Wheeler Brothers, Somerset for a few years. She was then a stay at home mom for her son Albert. Myrna was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Somerset and volunteer for Somerset Hospital. She enjoyed bowling, cooking, sewing and playing bingo. The family would like to thank the staff of In-Touch Hospice, Allegheny Lutheran Social Ministries, Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center and Somerset Hospital for their compassionate care given to Myrna. Viewing from 2-4 & 6-8PM Tuesday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main Street, Boswell where a vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass 11AM Wednesday at St. Peter’s Church with Rev. Fr. Angelo J. Patti celebrant. Committal Somerset County Memorial Park.
