Obituary for Yvonne Eileen "Mickey" Good (Buzzard)

GOOD – Yvonne Eileen “Mickey” (Buzzard), 82, Hollsopple, formerly of Benscreek, was serenaded by family and friends into the arms of her Lord and Savior September 12, 2019 at Windber Hospice. Born February 16, 1937 in Johnstown to William Conway, Sr. and Lillian (Tantlinger) Buzzard. Preceded in death by parents; husband Paul Richard Good; infant son Daniel W.; brothers William C. Jr, Dwight, Thomas and Donald Buzzard and sisters Rebecca Budash, Gwennie Kearns, Lillian Lewis, Sue Fleck and June Hoffman Kordell. Survived by children Kathy and Darrel Holsopple, Deanna and Denny Hoffman and Sandi and Mark Ott; grandchildren Richard & Shelby Holsopple, Stephanie & Matt Stahl, Brett & Emily Hoffman, Becca & Dave Williams, Mitch & Danielle Ott and Mallory & Ryan Romano; great-grandchildren Sydney, Abigail, Justin, Carter, Brandon, Hudson, Piper, Nora, Marina, Emerson, Jaxon and Milo; sisters Josie May and Esther Lint and many loved sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends. Mickey retired from First Commonwealth Bank. A lifelong member of Church of the Brethren and current member of Scalp Level Church of the Brethren. Enjoyed camping with Flood City and Wise Owls Camping Clubs and dancing with All American Swingers. She was faithful in daily devotions, praying for and sending cards to others, listening to Christian music and reciting scripture, even until her last breath. She left a Legacy of Faith to her children, grandchildren and all who knew her. Visitation will be held from 2-4PM Sunday, September 22nd in the fellowship hall of Scalp Level Church of the Brethren, followed by a Celebration of Life service at 4PM in the sanctuary.
