Life Story for Michael R. Yeager

Michael R.  Yeager
YEAGER – Michael R., 78, Davidsville, died March 16, 2014, at his home. Born Oct. 24, 1935, in Staten Island, N.Y., son of Joseph and Frances (Ban) Yeager. Preceded in death by parents and brother, Albert. Survived by wife, Kay (James) Yeager; children, Scott, and wife, Tracy; John; and Stephanie; grandchildren, Kyrsten, Haley and Colton; brother, Joseph, and wife, Marilyn; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War, having served for four years. He was employed by RCA Service Co., Johnstown, where he received many awards and national recognition as manager of the year. The family would like to thank Dr. Sbeitan and staff, Dr. Paul Raymond, Dr. Ratchford, Infusion Center at Memorial Medical Center and Conemaugh Regional Hospice for all their caring service. Friends received from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 109 Church Road, Davidsville, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, the Very Rev. Alan E. Thomas, VF, presiding. A private committal will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mike’s memory may be sent to Conemaugh Regional Hospice, 315 Locust St., Suite 5E, Johnstown, Pa. 15901, or a charity of your choice.
