Life Story for Donald E. "Muck" Moskey
MOSKEY – Donald E. “Muck,” 76, Boswell, died April 1, 2014, at Memorial Medical Center. Born July 27, 1937, in Boswell, son of Alexander M. Sr. and Anna (Mosney) Moskey. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Robert, Alex Jr. “Skitts,” Richard “Auntick” and Ronald; and sister-in-law, Patty Moskey. Survived by wife, Carol (Lepley); son, Mark Remz, and wife, Missy, Boswell; daughters, Heather Moskey, Erie; and Dawn Moskey, and fiance, Rich Weigle, Stoystown; granddaughters, Keysha, Abby, Molly and Kristen; sisters, Dolores Wiedenhoft, Somerset; and Shirley Betta, Oklahoma; brother, Ted, Stoystown; sisters-in-law, Peggy Moskey, Ohio; and Frieda Moskey, Boswell; uncle, Pete Mosky, Jenners; and numerous nieces and nephews. Retired employee of Bethlehem Steel Corp., Johnstown, and Johnstown America. Member of Jenner Rod & Gun Club and Stoystown Post 257 American Legion. Muck enjoyed tending to his vegetable garden. Friends received from 11 a.m. until time of memorial service at 1 p.m. Friday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main St., Boswell, the Rev. Monsignor Samuel J. Tomaselli, presiding. Committal at Mount Carmel Cemetery will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Donald’s memory may be sent to Humane Society of Somerset County, P.O. Box 182, Somerset, Pa. 15501.
