Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Edwin Smith can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Hero's

I remember coming out of little league baseball and moving up to legion ball and walking onto  the field in Boswell for tryouts. The field was full of guys fro14 to 18 years old, back in the sixties there was no junior legion ball so you played with all ages, there  were alot of talented guys out there but one guy really stood out this tall skinny kid they called Smitty. Smitty worked harder than everybody out there and  had this infectious smile on his face that showed me how much he   loved the game. He was our star player but you never knew it because he was so humble, he worked harder in games than he did at practice he was a delight to watcth and play with. Smitty won numeous awards and was well deserving of them all ,he strenghtened my love for the game and showed me how the game should be played..Smitty you were an ispiration to me that I passed on to my kids and I thank you for that, I am proud to have been your friend and teammate and may God Bless You
