Daniel E.  Trout
TROUT – Daniel E., 50, Somerset, died Aug. 23, 2014, at Somerset Hospital. Born Aug. 6, 1964, in Brownsville, Texas, son of Roy A. Sr. and Gloria (DiValentone) Trout. Preceded in death by mother, Sept. 26, 1991. Survived by father, Roy Sr., and wife, Lil, Hatboro; daughters, Courtney Trout, at home; Amber Johnston, and fiance, Joshua Younkins, Somerset; and Kayla Johnston, Sellersville; fiancee, Nancy Phillippi, Somerset; grandchildren, Camryn Johnston and Addison and Mason Younkins; stepchildren, Kelsey and Ian Phillippi; brothers, Roy A. Jr., married to Jodale Fish, Boswell; Michael, and wife, Kathy, Feasterville; and Thomas, and wife, Trisha, Souderton; and sister, Tracey Collins, and fiance, Brian, Jenner Crossroads. Also survived by 13 nieces and nephews and many coworkers and friends. A 1983 graduate North Star High School. Was a full-time bartender at Kiels Taverne, Somerset, for the past 32 years, a job he always loved at a place he considered his second home. Dan was a great father, son, pappy, brother, uncle and friend. He made an impact on everyone around him and his generosity, kindness and love can never be replaced. He was loved by all and will be greatly missed. He had a passion for hunting, fishing, golfing, pool and most importantly his family and friends. He also was a general handyman and excelled at any task. Visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday Hoffman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 409 Main St., Boswell. Memorial celebration will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. Sept. 6, 2014, at Kiels Taverne, Glades Pike, Somerset. Private interment at Jenner Crossroads Cemetery.
