JOSEPH – Audrey C. (Cooper), 85, Pittsburgh (Upper St. Clair), formerly of Krings, died Nov. 29, 2014, at St. Clair Hospital, Pittsburgh, surrounded by her loving family. Born July 24,1929, in Johnstown, daughter of John and Trella (Mishler) Cooper. Preceded in death by parents; husband of 43 years, Edward E., on Nov. 19, 1995; and brother, Donald Cooper. Survived by sons, Brian W., and wife, Debbie, Arlington, Texas; Brad E., Pittsburgh; Keith A., and wife, Mary Ellen, Gran Blanc, Mich.; and Kevin A., and wife, Beth, Pittsburgh; grandchildren, Sarah, Allison, Rachel, Shelby, Kayla, Timothy, Meredith, Colleen, Paul and Kara; seven great-grandchildren; nephews, David, Dan and Dirk Horner, all of the Davidsville area; and Mark Cooper; and niece, Amy Cooper, both of McKeesport. From 1969 to 1996, Audrey and Eddie were foster parents for Allegheny County for about 80 pre-adoptive children. Audrey was a caring mother and caretaker of those in need. Member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Scott Township. Her favorite pastimes included playing cards, bowling and watching game shows and Steelers and Pirates games. Memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Friday at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Pittsburgh (Scott Township), Pastor Kimberly van Driel, presiding. Viewing will be held from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 109 Church Road, Davidsville, Pastor Denise Todero, presiding. Interment, Kaufman Cemetery, Davidsville. In lieu of flowers, donations in Audrey’s memory may be sent to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1700 Bower Hill Road, Pittsburgh, Pa. 15243.
