CARROLL – James E. “Butch,” 76, Jenner Township, died April 17, 2015, at home. Born Sept. 21, 1938, in Jenner Township, son of William J. and Mildred P. (Brant) Carroll. Preceded in death by parents; infant brother, Mark; and brothers-in-law, Terry J. Resh and William Lichtenfels. Survived by sisters, Kathryn Resh, Jenner Township; Della Lichtenfels, Pittsburgh; and Georgia, married to Vaughn Lichtenfels, Stow, Ohio; brothers, William J. “Bill,” at home; and Leroy L., married to Bonnie Horner, Jennerstown; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives; and special niece and caregiver, Cyndi Rose. Member of Mount Laurel United Church of Christ. Viewing will be held from 1 p.m. until time of service at 3 p.m. Sunday at Hoffman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 409 Main St., Boswell, the Rev.
