Obituary for Paul A. Shetler Sr.
SHETLER – Paul A. Sr., 81, Davidsville, died Jan. 23, 2016, at Select Specialty Hospital, Johnstown. Born July 7, 1934, in Conemaugh Township, Somerset County, son of Charles and Anna (Yoder) Shetler. Preceded in death by parents and daughter, Connie. Survived by wife of 60 years, Mabel M. (Yoder) Shetler; son, Paul A. Shetler Jr., at home; sister, Laura (Shetler) Wiley, married to Hubert Cagle, Bedford; brother, David, and wife, Linda, Schellsburg; and pet dogs, Cuddles and Snoopy. Former truck driver for 34 years. Retired employee of Emglo Compressors. Member of Arbutus Church of the Brethren. Paul enjoyed spending his time being outdoors working in his yard. At Paul’s request, there will be no viewing or service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the charity of your choice.
