Obituary for George J. Neuhof Sr.

NEUHOF – George J. Sr., 80, Jennerstown, died Feb. 24, 2016, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Nov. 19, 1935, in Scranton, son of John G. Jr. and Marie (Neuhof) Neuhof. Preceded in death by parents; daughter, Avey; grandson, Casey Zellem; and first wife, Roberta. Survived by wife of 40 years, the former Carol M. Tressler; children, Denise, and husband, Mike; George J. Jr., and wife, Cathi; Lisa; Doug, and wife, Lynn; Dennis; and David, and wife, Jennifer; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Mary Jane Thomas and Patricia Bihary. Member of Jennerstown United Methodist Church. Retired project manager for several construction companies. Viewing will be held from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. Saturday at Hoffman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 409 Main St., Boswell, Pastor Chuck Hildbold, officiating.
