Arnold C.  Brick
BRICK – Arnold C., 87, Hollsopple, formerly of Camp Drive, Hooversville, passed away April 11, 2016, at his home. Born Nov. 18, 1928, in Berlin, son of the late Ernest and Agnes (Miller) Brick. Survived by wife of 66 years, Florence E. (Berkey) Brick; son, Bradley C., and companion, Arbutus Thomas, Palmetto, Fla.; daughter, Beverly E., married to George Wiley, with whom Arnold lived; grandchildren, George Wiley, and wife, Mona, Benscreek; Valerie (Wiley), married to Jason Wojcik, Windber; Clifton Brick, and wife, Marijke, New Hampshire; and Melissa (Brick), married to Brandon Companion, Bathe, Maine; great-grandchildren, Heaven, George Tavis, Katie, Trent, Glenna, Kelsey, Bianca, Keeghan, James, Baylee and Braydon; and great-great-grandson, Jasper. Retired employee of Bethlehem Steel Corp., Johnstown. Following his retirement, Arnold repaired cars and small engines. Member of St. Thomas Evangelical Lutheran Church, Hooversville. He enjoyed being outdoors and reading. Friends received from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 109 Church Road, Davidsville. Friends also received from 10 until time of service at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Thomas Lutheran Church, with Pastor Nila Cogan presiding. Inurnment, church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Arnold's memory may be sent to Windber Hospice, 600 Somerset Ave., Windber, Pa. 15963.
