Obituary for William J. Miller

MILLER, William J. “Jim”, 78, Beam Church Road, Jenner Township, died September 11, 2016 at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. Born December 13, 1937 in Jefferson Township, Somerset County. Son of Evans and Erma (Bahr) Miller Preceded in death by parents, special “father” Kissy Shaffer and brother George Miller. Survived by wife of 52 years former Carol Knupp; sisters and brothers: Elwood and wife Bev, NY; Harry and wife Mary Ann, Somerset; Martha Trimmer, Arizona and Beverly Pannunzio and husband David, Somerset; mother-in-law Betty (Schilling) Knupp-Lewis, Somerset, and numerous nieces and nephews. Enjoyed restoring older cars and watching NASCAR. Jim will especially miss his two buddies, J R and Dancer. No visitation or viewing. Graveside service for friends and family 1PM Friday at Beam Cemetery, near Gray. Pastor Josh Halagan, officiating. Arrangements in charge of Hoffman Funeral Homes.
