Gindlesperger – Glenn R. 85 , Jerome, passed away peacefully in his big comfy chair at home December 18, 2016. Born September 7, 1931 In Coy, Indiana County. Son of Richard and Emma Susan (Brown) Gindlesperger. Preceded in death by parents, grandson, Daniel Kinniard, infant brother, Gary and 2 brothers, Dale and Paul. Survived by wife of nearly 60 years, Virginia “Ginger” Puschnigg, five children, Antionette Lambert, Gary and wife, Sharon, Joseph, Eva and Randy Kauffman and Erick and wife Elizabeth, 13 grandchildren: Michael Brehm, Bryan Purdy and wife Kristi, Matthew Purdy and wife Audra, Jenny, Amanda, Aaron, Andrew and Daniel Gindlesperger, Laura Gindlesperger and Lucas , and Blaine, Connor, Jack and Henry Armstrong, 3 great grandchildren: Nicole Brehm, and Emily and Rebecca Purdy, former son-in-law, Ken Turk and brother, Ron and Wife, Linda, Meyersdale. 1949 graduate of Conemaugh Township Area High School. Staff Sgt.in U.S. Army during Korean War. Loving father, grandfather and great grandfather who greatly enjoyed his family, sports, and poker. Retired employee of former Johnstown Works, Bethlehem Steel Corp. with 39 years service. No visitation or service. Arrangements Hoffman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Davidsville.
