BLAIR – Barbara A. (Fry), 81, Central City, formerly of Boswell, died February 22, 2017 at Siemon’s Lakeview Manor, Somerset. Born November 23, 1935 in Jenners. Daughter of Calvin and Ann (Ardery) Fry. Preceded in death by parents, husband Kenneth D. “Hunch” Blair on December 29, 1996, son David L. Blair and step-sister Barbara A. Smith. Survived by children Kenneth E., Jennerstown; Mark J. and wife Cynthia (Smith), Stoystown; Rick J., Jenners and Roxanne J. married to Rodney Boyer, Central City; 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; sisters “Buzz” Saylor, Boswell and Gloria married to Don Foster, Jennerstown; brothers Bob Fry married to Jane (Sprowls), Florida and Tom Fry, Jennerstown and daughter-in-law Judy Blair, Somerset. Employed by former Dorfman & Hoffman and Nancy Carol Garment Factories, Boswell. She was also a van driver for Griffith Transportation and manager for Janie Lynn Motel, Bedford. Member of Central City Full Gospel Church where she enjoyed handing out prayer cloths. Also a member of Christian Community Church, Boswell. Barbara enjoyed making crafts and reading her Bible. Viewing from 2-4 &6-8PM Friday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main Street, Boswell where a service will be held 10AM Saturday with Rev. David Brady and Rev. Charles Kelly presiding. Inurnment Beam Cemetery, Gray at a later date. Donations in Barbara’s memory may be sent to Heartland Hospice, 1590 N. Center Avenue, S. 103, Somerset, PA 15501.
