LASKY - Frances M. (Runtz), 93, formerly of Jenner Township, died February 26, 2017 at Arbutus Park Manor, Richland. Born March 4, 1923 in Johnstown. Daughter of Julius and Marcella E. (Tenzyk) Runtz. Preceded in death by parents; husband of 55 years, Henry J. on January 23, 2000; daughter Diane Kovach; sons Henry A. and Robert C.; grandson Hank; sisters Eleanor, Mary and JoAnn and brothers, Frank, Ted and Bernard “Bunce”. Survived by daughter Carol Sotosky, Jenner Crossroads; special grandson and granddaughter, Christopher Lasky, who lived with Frances and Henry, and Carol (Drummond) Lasky; special great granddaughter Hannah and special great grandson Noah; son-in-law Anthony “Tony” Kovach, Uniontown; sister Bernice Pelesky, Michigan; brother Charles “Crow”, Jerome; several other grandchildren and numerous other relatives and in-laws. A graduate of Conemaugh Township Area High School, Davidsville. Member of All Saints Catholic Parish and Unite Here, formerly ILGWU. Retired employee of former Dorfman & Hoffman Garment Factory. Viewing will be held 2-4 and 6-8PM Tuesday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main Street, Boswell where Vigil For Deceased will be held at 2 PM Tuesday. Funeral Mass 10AM Wednesday at All Saints Catholic Church Boswell with Rev. Father John Voytek, OFM, Conv., celebrant. Committal St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Boswell. Memorials to Laurel Highlands Alzheimers Foundation, 317 Power Street, Johnstown, PA 15906 would be appreciated.
