PELESKY – Mary (Tarcha), 93, Pelesky Road, Jenner Township,died June 21, 2015, at home. Born Aug. 16, 1921, in St. Michael, daughter ofMichael and Mary (Hamas) Tarcha. Preceded in death by parents; husband, JohnN., on Aug. 29, 1990; stepfather, Andrew Macenczak; sisters, Ann (Tarcha)Epsik, Helen (Tarcha) Wade, Helen (Macenczak) Murphy and Margaret (Macenczak)Krassnoski; and brother, Michael Tarcha. Survived by children, John David,married to Mary Yurcevic, Jenner Township; Carol, married to John Chupko,Davidsville; Cathy, married to Paul Chupko, Johnstown; Timothy, married toTanis Brown, Jenners; Yvonne, married to Richard Ott, Jenner Township; Paul,married to Kathy Johnson, Jenners; and Mary Kay, married to Rick Sheeler,Friedens; 28 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; and fivegreat-great-grandchildren. Sister of John Macenczak, Arizona; Sam Macenczak,Georgia; Andy Macenczak, married to Barbara Urban, Jenners; Anne Macenczak, NewJersey; and Josephine (Macenczak) Housty, New Hampshire. Member of GreaterJohnstown Christian Fellowship. Past employee of the former Dorfman &Hoffman Garment Factory and Green Gables Restaurant. Mary loved to cook, bakeand can, the labor of her many gardens over the years. She was “grandma” to allher special family. Viewing will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesdayat Hoffman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 409 Main St., Boswell, whereservice will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Pastor Gary L.
