The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Lewis Crusko can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Small world

Some years back, I had a blind date with young lady who lived on the West Side of Manhattan.  We discussed where to meet and she mentioned a little neighborhood pub.  So, we were having drinks at the bar, having a nice time.  As she was talking to me, I saw a familiar face standing behind her.  It was Uncle Lou.  I thought I was hallucinating or drunk.  Sure enough, it was Lou hanging out at the bar he loved to go to.  Of all the places to pick to meet, she picked Lou's favorite bar.  Lou was gracious to me and my date and went behind the bar and served us some drinks on the house.  That was Lou.  So easy going.  A lot like my dad.   And he was close to my dad.  Now they are together in Heaven.  God bless him and rest his soul.
